Dr. Leena Mittal, director of reproductive psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a co-Investigator with the Women’s Hormones and Aging Research Program, was quoted in a July 17, 2018, article in the Boston Globe Magazine, Motherhood brings the most dramatic brain changes of a woman’s life:

“I started thinking about a map of the maternal brain as a kind of tool to cut through the romanticization, the history of scientific neglect, the invisibility of mothers.
