Who: Healthy women ages 18-45 who are not taking hormonal birth control pills

What:  NIH-funded clinical research study on sleep, appetite, and hormones.

Study participation includes:

  • two 5-night inpatient stays on a research floor
  • four outpatient visits
  • some procedures to complete at home
  • receiving 1 injection of an FDA-approved medication to temporarily lower your estrogen (hormone) levels for approximately one month.

Where: Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston MA. Please note study participation requires several trips to the Hospital. Parking valet vouchers can be provided. Limited reimbursement of other transportation may be available.

Participants may be compensated up to $8,160 for their time. Up to 10 days of at-home meals may be provided. Participants will not incur any study-related expenses.
